When a crisis strikes, first responders run toward the danger. They comfort the injured, calm the frightened, and stand between chaos and community. But who stands with them when the weight of what they witness becomes too heavy to carry alone?
That's where the Tri-State First Responder Peer Support Team steps in. Courage shouldn't come at the cost of mental health. Peer support saves lives. Every first responder deserves someone who understands.

First responders face trauma that most of us will never see — repeated exposure to loss, violence, and human suffering that takes a profound toll on mental health. Depression, PTSD, anxiety, and tragically, suicide rates among firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and dispatchers continue to climb.
Yet accessing support remains challenging. Stigma, lack of resources, and the culture of "toughness" can prevent those who save lives from seeking the help they need and deserve.
The Tri-State First Responder Peer Support Team exists to bridge that gap — connecting first responders with peers who understand, resources that work, and support when it matters most.
We don't provide clinical therapy — we provide something just as critical: a bridge to help, built by those who've walked the same path.
